Choose Euclid Chemical products by job

The Euclid line covers most of what happens to concrete from the pour through the repair twenty years later. Rather than sort by product family, start with the job in front of you, then confirm the placement conditions, cure window and compatibility with whatever goes on next.

JobWhat to confirmExamples in this range
Grouting baseplates, anchors and equipmentSupported load, static or dynamic service, clearance and placement depth, required consistency and the specified standard. Cementitious grout covers most structural support; epoxy grout is the answer for vibration, impact or chemical exposure, and the two are not interchangeable on price alone.NS Grout, Hi-Flow Grout, Tremie Grout, E3 Flowable, E3 Deep Pour, E3 HCR
Filling and sealing floor jointsWhether the joint needs a rigid filler that supports traffic edges or a flexible sealant that accommodates movement — they are different products for different joints. For exposed and exterior work, confirm UV stability and color. Match shore hardness and cure speed to the floor traffic and the return-to-service window.Euco 700, QWIKJoint 200, QwikJoint UVR, Eucolastic 1NS, Eucolastic 1SL
Repairing and patching concreteOrientation — horizontal, vertical or overhead — repair depth, the set and strength-gain time you need before reopening, and whether the substrate is sound enough to take the mortar. Rapid-setting mortars buy schedule, not thickness; check the maximum lift and the extension allowance.Speed Crete Red Line, Speed Plug, EucoRepair V100, EucoRepair SCC, Verticoat Supreme, Euco Re-Cover
Bonding, anchoring and injecting with epoxyViscosity for the placement method, gel and cure time at the working temperature, whether the substrate is dry or damp, and the ASTM C881 type and grade the specification names. Bonding agents and rebar-protection coatings have their own open times that drive the sequence.Dural 452 MV, 452 LV, Dural Fast Set Gel, Duralprep AC, Eucoweld 2.0, Tammsweld
Curing, sealing and protecting fresh concreteWhat goes on the slab afterward. A membrane-forming cure and seal that stays on the surface can interfere with coatings, toppings and flooring adhesives; a dissipating resin cure is designed to break down. Also confirm the VOC limit in force, moisture condition at application and any ASTM C309 or C1315 requirement.Diamond Clear, Diamond Clear VOX, Kurez DR VOX, Aqua-Cure VOX, Eucobar, Formshield WB
Hardening, densifying and polishing floorsSilicate chemistry and solids content, the concrete's age and finish, and where the product sits in the polishing sequence. Densifiers change how a floor takes a polish and how later coatings bond, so decide the finished floor before the first application.Euco Diamond Hard, UltraSil Li+, Ultrasil DC9, Eucosil, Level Top Polish
Protecting and waterproofing hardened surfacesThe exposure you are protecting against — water, chlorides, chemicals, abrasion or immersion — and whether the product penetrates or forms a film. Confirm substrate porosity, surface preparation and the dry time before traffic or rain. Underwater and immersion work needs a product formulated for it.Baracade Silane 100 C, Chemstop WB HD, Tamoseal, Duralkote 240, Flexolith, Aquaseal MV

These are examples, not the full range — the catalog above holds 96 Euclid items and the line card is larger still. Published strength, coverage and cure figures are meaningful only with their test method, temperature, thickness and age. Work from the current product data sheet before approving a substitution.

Field planning

Plan the product installation

Most issues we see come from four places: the wrong product inside the right family, the weather, what was already on the slab, and the takeoff. Work through them before placing your order.

The family name is not the selection

Euclid names several products alike on purpose. Speed Crete Red Line and Blue Line set at different rates. The Diamond Clear line spans several formulations and VOC compliances. E3 comes in flowable, deep-pour, high-chemical-resistance and extreme-service versions.

Order by the full product name and packaging shown on the data sheet, not by the family. If the specification names only the family, ask which version was intended before it ships.

Temperature, moisture and the cure window

Ambient and substrate temperature change set time, strength gain and working time on nearly everything here — rapid-setting mortars most of all. Cold slows the gain; heat shortens the window you have to place and finish.

Confirm the substrate moisture condition each product calls for. Some repair mortars want saturated surface-dry concrete; most epoxies and coatings want it dry. Getting this backwards is the single most common bond failure.

What goes on the slab next

Curing compounds, densifiers and sealers decide what will bond later. A membrane-forming cure and seal left on a slab can prevent a coating, topping or flooring adhesive from sticking, and removing it becomes its own line item.

Decide the finished floor before the concrete is cured. If a coating or topping is coming, pick a curing method compatible with it, and confirm the removal or preparation the coating manufacturer requires.

Takeoff, yield and packaging

Calculate from the actual volume or area, add a practical allowance, then divide by the published yield of the exact bag, pail or unit. Yields are not transferable between products in the same family or between package sizes.

Cartridge, pail, bag, kit and drum sizes ship differently and some are bulk-freight items. Confirm packaging and lead time with the quantity, particularly for units, kits and drums.

Before you order

Euclid specifications and quantity planning

Use the project specification with the current Euclid data sheet to confirm the performance, quantity and documents the job requires.

Compare the specified performance

Read strength, flow, set and cure figures alongside their test method, temperature, consistency and age. Check the ASTM reference the specification names, the placement limits and the service conditions the product is published for.

Calculate quantity and yield

Measure the real volume, area or linear feet, add an allowance for waste and profile, and divide by the published yield of the exact package. Round up to whole units, and check whether an aggregate extension changes the yield.

Assemble the submittal

Identify the manufacturer, product, package size and SKU. Collect the current data sheet, application instructions, SDS and any LEED, VOC or compliance documentation the project asks for. Ask for technical help when a limit is unclear.

Euclid Chemical questions

What does Euclid Chemical make?

The Euclid Chemical Company produces specialty chemicals for concrete and masonry: admixtures, non-shrink and epoxy grouts, repair mortars, epoxy adhesives and bonding agents, joint fillers and sealants, curing and sealing compounds, densifiers, water repellents, coatings and fiber reinforcement. The catalog above holds the construction products we stock; the full line card is larger and can be ordered in.

Which Euclid grout should I use under a baseplate?

Start with the specification and the loading. Cementitious non-shrink grouts such as NS Grout and Hi-Flow Grout cover most structural bearing and anchor work, with the choice between them driven by flow, clearance and placement depth. The E3 epoxy grouts are for dynamic, impact or chemically exposed service where a cement grout will not hold up. Underwater placement needs a product published for it, such as Tremie Grout.

What is the difference between Euco 700 and QwikJoint UVR?

They solve different problems. Euco 700 is an epoxy joint filler for interior floor control joints, where the job is to support the joint edges under hard-wheel traffic. The QWIKJoint polyurea fillers cure faster and stay more flexible, and the UVR version is the one to use where the joint sees sunlight and color change matters. Confirm the floor traffic, the return-to-service window and the exposure before choosing.

Which Euclid curing compound is right for my slab?

It depends on what goes on the slab next. A membrane-forming cure and seal such as the Diamond Clear family stays on the surface and protects it; a dissipating resin cure such as Kurez DR VOX is designed to break down so later work can bond. Check the VOC limit in your jurisdiction, and confirm compatibility with any coating, topping or flooring adhesive that follows.

Which rapid-setting repair mortar should I order?

Match the set time to the return-to-service window, and the product to the orientation and depth. Speed Crete Red Line and Blue Line set at different rates, EucoRepair V100 is formulated for vertical and overhead work, EucoRepair SCC is self-consolidating for formed and congested repairs, and Speed Plug is for stopping active water. Order by the full product name rather than the family.

Can you get Euclid products that are not listed on this page?

Usually, yes. The 96 items above are what we carry on the site; Euclid's line card runs much wider, including admixtures, fibers and coatings. Send the product name and quantity through the project pricing form or call 888-809-2365 and we will confirm availability and lead time.
