Start with what the joint needs to do: seal against weather, support floor edges, accommodate building movement or maintain a rated assembly. Each subcategory below takes you to a more focused product range.

The range includes polyurethane, silicone, polyether and acrylic latex formulations. Use chemistry to narrow the choice, then check the exact product’s performance and installation requirements.
Match the sealant to the job
Building envelopes & moving joints
For precast panels, masonry, window perimeters and façade repairs, check adhesion, weather exposure and movement capability. Use a suitable non-sag grade for vertical joints; self-leveling products require an appropriate horizontal joint.
Seismic joints need a system selected for the expected movement and opening. A general-purpose flexible sealant is not a substitute for the specified expansion joint assembly.
Concrete floors & traffic
Industrial floors often need joint-edge support under carts and hard-wheeled traffic. Semi-rigid fillers such as EUCO QWIKjoint UVR serve a different function from flexible sealants in moving expansion joints.
Confirm whether the job calls for filling a saw-cut joint, sealing a moving joint or installing a preformed traffic-bearing system before selecting material.
Fire, smoke & sound control
For fire-rated penetrations and joints, select products within the listed system for the wall or floor construction, penetrating item and required rating. Follow its backing, depth and installation details.
Smoke and acoustical sealants have their own applications. A smoke seal or flame-spread result alone does not establish a firestop assembly rating.
Clean rooms, exposure & finish
Clean rooms and process areas can require specific contamination, chemical-resistance and cleaning-agent performance. The range includes ChemLink M-1 CR Clean Room; confirm the exact formulation against the facility specification.
For visible joints, check the cured color, clear or translucent appearance, staining potential and paint compatibility. Verify the selected product’s color chart and samples before ordering.

Confirm the specification
Review substrates, primer and backing, joint dimensions, movement, exposure and curing conditions. Include the current data sheet, safety data and any required system listing or approval in your submittal.
Plan quantities & packaging
Use the manufacturer’s coverage data with your joint width, depth and total length. Allow for waste and round up to complete units. Confirm cartridge, sausage, pail or kit size, applicator compatibility and whether the listing is for one unit or a case.
Complete the system
Include the specified backer rod, primer, color packs and accessories. For preformed joint seals, supply the opening sizes, total lengths, transitions and orientation so the complete system can be reviewed.

Contractor buying questions
How do I choose between polyurethane, silicone and polyether sealants?
Start with the specification and application. Compare substrate adhesion, movement rating, exposure, cure conditions and finish requirements for the exact products. Chemistry is a useful starting point, but it does not establish interchangeability.
Can I use the same product for floor joints and expansion joints?
Only where the product is intended for both applications. Semi-rigid floor joint fillers support joint edges, while moving joints need suitable movement accommodation. Identify the joint’s function before choosing the product family.
Are clear and translucent sealants the same finish?
They can have different cured appearances. Review the manufacturer’s description and a cured sample when appearance matters. Match the required performance first, then confirm the available finish and package.
Can I use any color pack with a tint-base product?
Use only the pack and dosage specified for that manufacturer’s product and unit size. A matching color name does not establish compatibility between different sealants, fillers or brands.
What information is needed for a large project order?
