Extremely durable floor topping for use in areas subject to heavy wear, impact, and abrasion. Utilizes a combination of high-strength hybrid paste along with a unique blend of natural quartz, calcined, and iron aggregates.
EucoFloor 404 is a heavy-duty cementitious metallic floor topping engineered for extreme wear, impact, and abrasion. Its hybrid paste with natural quartz, calcined, and iron aggregates delivers high early and ultimate strengths and very low permeability. On properly prepared substrates, floors can return to high-wear service in about 48 hours at 70°F.

What surface prep is required?
Mechanically abrade to a minimum CSP 5 (heavy shotblast), clean thoroughly, and provide a perimeter keyway (≥1 in deep, undercut into base slab).
Do I need a primer?
Yes. Apply EucoFloor Epoxy Primer at ~75–100 ft²/gal, then full-broadcast 16/30 silica sand to refusal. Remove loose sand after cure.
How do I mix?
Per 50 lb bag, add ~0.45–0.51 gal of water and mix 2–3 minutes with a mortar paddle. For bulk, mix 7–10 minutes in a ready-mix truck.
Can it be steel troweled?
No. Finish is slightly textured; do not hard steel trowel. Float to a smooth, uniform surface and honor all substrate joints.
How is it cured?
Apply a high-solids curing compound at ~200–250 ft²/gal, then wet cure under plastic or curing blankets for 2–5 days once walkable.
