Euclid Eucolastic 1NS – Limestone 10.1 oz Cartridge

Eucolastic 1NS is a single-component, non-sag, low-modulus polyurethane hybrid joint sealant for interior and exterior construction joints. It skins rapidly, cures to a tough flexible seal with ±35% movement capability, and maintains adhesion through temperature cycles. The limestone color matches light concretes and masonry and is suitable for use above and below grade.

Key Features

  • Non-sag, moisture-cured hybrid polyurethane for vertical and overhead joints.
  • Skins rapidly; tack-free in about 3–4 hours at 75°F.
  • Movement capability ±35% for dynamic joints (ASTM C719).
  • Maintains cohesive and adhesive bond during thermal cycling.
  • Paintable after cure; good color stability.
  • Service temperature range −40°F to 185°F.
  • Meets ASTM C920 Type S, Grade NS, Class 35; TT-S-00230C Type II Class A; CAN/CGSB 19.13.

Applications

  • Concrete control and expansion joints; precast concrete panels.
  • Window and door perimeters; masonry and EIFS details.
  • Interior and exterior joints above and below grade.
  • General construction sealing where a flexible, durable joint seal is needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a primer?
Usually no. Perform a field adhesion test on non-porous substrates. Use Eucolastic Primer when the sealant will be in continuous water immersion after cure.

What joint dimensions are recommended?
Minimum joint width 1/4 in. For joints 1/4–1/2 in wide, use 1:1 width-to-depth. For joints 1/2–1 in wide, depth should be half the width with a maximum 1/2 in sealant depth.

When can it be painted?
After full cure. Always test coating compatibility on a small area first.

What are the storage and handling notes?
Store at room temperature before use. Apply only to clean, dry substrates. Do not apply to damp or wet joints.

Where can it be used?
Interior or exterior, above or below grade, including concrete, precast, masonry, EIFS, and around windows and doors.
