Euclid Tamoseal Cement Waterproofing, Gray 50 lb

Euclid Tamoseal is a cementitious, polymer-modified coating that waterproofs concrete and masonry after it is mixed with acrylic admixture. It is used on interior and exterior foundations, water tanks, reservoirs, and balconies, including vertical work and light-duty horizontal surfaces. The coating forms a tenacious bond, becomes an integral part of the substrate, remains breathable, and is slightly flexible to seal static cracks.

Frequently Asked Questions

What potable-water listing covers Euclid Tamoseal?
Gray Euclid Tamoseal is NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 certified for use with potable water. Tanks stay empty at least 7 days after application.

What two-coat build does Euclid Tamoseal reach?
The total thickness of the two coats is approximately 1/16 to 1/8 inch, or 125 mils. Base coat is 2 lb/yd², about 225 ft² per 50 lb bag. Finish coat is 1 lb/yd², about 450 ft² per 50 lb bag. Coverage is approximate and depends on substrate texture and porosity.

What 28-day compressive result does Euclid Tamoseal show?
Typical laboratory value is 6,400 psi at 28 days (ASTM C109). 7-day compressive strength is 4,500 psi. Expect reasonable variation under field conditions.

What water-vapor transmission does Euclid Tamoseal show?
Typical laboratory value is 12 perms (ASTM E96). The coating is breathable. Expect reasonable variation under field conditions.

What ASTM C672 scaling loss does Euclid Tamoseal show?
Loss at 50 cycles is 1.20% (ASTM C672). Typical laboratory value. Expect reasonable variation under field conditions.

What first-coat wait does Euclid Tamoseal need before the finish coat?
Recoat cure time is 12 to 24 hours at a recoat temperature above 40 F. Final cure time is 7 days minimum at a final cure temperature above 40 F. Typical laboratory values. Expect reasonable variation under field conditions.
