Euclid Aqua-Cure VOX 5 Gallon Pail 050V 05

Aqua-Cure VOX is a water-based acrylic polymer curing and sealing compound for new and existing concrete. It helps fresh concrete maintain moisture for proper curing, seals the surface, and provides an attractive sheen. Aqua-Cure VOX dries to a clear, transparent film that resists yellowing under exterior or ultraviolet exposure and is used on interior and exterior concrete surfaces, including industrial floors, pavements, walls, basements and footings, hospitals, and exterior concrete.

Key Features

  • Forms an efficient moisture barrier for optimum curing of concrete.
  • Seals concrete surfaces to protect against the effects of weathering.
  • Increases durability by promoting proper cement hydration.
  • Helps prevent dusting of new concrete.
  • Dries to a clear transparent film that resists yellowing under exterior or ultraviolet exposure.
  • Low odor, water-based alternative where solvent fumes may be objectionable, undesirable, or non-compliant.
  • Can contribute to LEED points.
  • Canadian Food Inspection Agency compliant.

Applications

  • Interior and exterior concrete surfaces.
  • Industrial floors.
  • Pavements.
  • Walls.
  • Basements and footings.
  • Exterior concrete.

Frequently Asked Questions

When can Aqua-Cure VOX be applied to freshly placed concrete?
When applying as a cure and seal, allow surface bleed water to evaporate before application, and make sure the surface is hard enough that it will not be marred during product application.

How is it typically applied for uniform coverage?
Apply at the recommended coverage rate using an industrial pump-up sprayer with a high-solids nozzle and a short-nap roller. Spray uniformly and lightly backroll to ensure even coverage. Maintain a wet edge and backroll over lap marks for best appearance.

What happens if the product is applied too heavily?
Over-application or excessive build-up can lead to failure to dry completely, bubbling, whitening, peeling, flaking, and discoloration. Measuring the area and matching the product volume to the coverage rate helps prevent over-application.

What conditions affect drying and recoat times?
Lower concrete or ambient temperatures, higher relative humidity, or reduced air flow can extend drying times beyond the typical values. Hot weather, direct sunlight, or applying onto a hot surface can also cause bubbling.

Is Aqua-Cure VOX resistant to gasoline or automotive fluids?
No. Aqua-Cure VOX is not resistant to gasoline or other automotive fluids.

How do I clean up tools and overspray?
Clean tools and equipment with warm, soapy water immediately following use. Clean drips and overspray with warm, soapy water while still wet.
