Tremco Vulkem 45SSL is a single-component, semi-self-leveling, moisture-curing, low-modulus polyurethane sealant intended for expansion joints in sidewalks, swimming pool decks, plazas, floors and other horizontal surfaces. Unlike many pourable, semi-self-leveling sealants, it can be used on sloped horizontal surfaces with slopes up to 6% (a 1 ft rise for every 16 ft run). It uses a polymer technology similar to TREMproof 250GC and Dymonic 100, which lets it adhere to damp or green concrete without outgassing and gives it greater UV resistance and the wear and tear resistance required in high traffic areas. It is traffic rated, jet fuel resistant and suitable for continuous immersion in non-chlorinated water, with primerless adhesion and ±35% movement capability. Use with adequate ventilation, and do not use it in chlorinated, potable, heavy or waste water.
