Avanti AV-202 Multigrout is a single component, moisture activated MDI/TDI blended polyurethane injection resin. Designed for sealing active water leaks in large cracks or joints in concrete structures, it can absorb up to 10 times its weight in water, creating a tough and impermeable seal.
AV-202-CARCS is a single 10.5 oz cartridge of Avanti AV-202 Multigrout, the high-viscosity hydrophilic polyurethane used to stop active leaks without opening a pail. Avanti packages the cartridge at approximately 10.1 fl. oz. (approximately 300 ml). It is the same NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 certified, moisture-activated MDI/TDI resin as the bulk containers: 1:1 water-to-resin for a tough flexible seal, up to 10:1 for a gel, 300% to 600% free-rise expansion. Reach for the cartridge on isolated cracks, pick holes, pipe penetrations, and Expanded Gasket Placement with oakum, when a 44 lb. pail is more material than the repair. Pair it with the Avanti cartridge tip for AV-202. Same resin in bulk as the Avanti AV-202 Multigrout 1 gallon container (AV-202-1) and the Avanti AV-202 Multigrout 5 gallon pail (AV-202-5).

How does this 10.5 oz cartridge compare to other AV-202 pack-outs?
AV-202-CARCS is a single cartridge, approximately 10.1 fl. oz. (approximately 300 ml), sold as 10.5 oz. Same NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 certified AV-202 Multigrout as the Avanti AV-202 Multigrout 1 gallon container (AV-202-1) and the Avanti AV-202 Multigrout 5 gallon pail (AV-202-5). Replacement nozzle: Avanti cartridge tip for AV-202. Avanti AV-202-LV Multigrout LV 10.5 oz cartridge is a separate low-viscosity formula. Avanti AV-202-NTP Multigrout NTP 10.5 oz cartridge case of 12 is a 12-cartridge case of the non-potable NTP grade.
What water-to-resin ratio should I use?
Preferred ratio is 1:1 water to resin for a strong, impermeable bond. It is effective up to 10:1 as a gel. No pre-mix is required. Perform a cup test with site water. Do not use AV-203 above 1:1.
Is the cartridge certified for potable water?
Yes. AV-202 Multigrout is tested and certified by WQA against NSF/ANSI/CAN 61. AV-202-NTP cartridges are not certified for potable water.
What temperature should I grout at?
Avanti specifies 60°F to 90°F (16°C to 32°C). Warm the cartridge to about 72°F (22°C) if the site is cold. Do not use an open flame.
Can I use this cartridge with oakum or underwater?
Yes. EGP with AV-219 Fibrotite (oakum) or AV-215 Resin Rod is a listed technique, along with needle penetration and crack injection. Underwater applications are listed on the TDS.
Do I need a special tip?
Use the Avanti cartridge tip for AV-202. Do not flush the cartridge or gun with water; AV-202 is moisture activated and will set in the equipment.
