Avanti AV-202-LV Multigrout LV is the low viscosity version of the original AV-202 Multigrout. It is a single component, moisture activated MDI/TDI blended polyurethane injection resin designed for sealing active water leaks in cracks or joints in concrete structures. AV-202-LV is designed to permeate tight cracks or joints and cures to form a resilient and flexible, yet tough, closed-cell foam with superb adhesive qualities.
Avanti AV-202-LV is a low-viscosity hydrophilic polyurethane injection resin for active water in tight cracks and joints. Moisture activates it so the resin can permeate poured concrete, precast, and pipe penetrations that a high-viscosity grout will not chase. It cures to a flexible, tough foam with strong adhesion, including underwater work, and can take up to eight times its volume in water.

When should I pick AV-202-LV instead of AV-202 for a tight crack?
Pick AV-202-LV when the crack or joint is tight and you need a low-viscosity resin to permeate poured concrete, precast, or pipe penetrations. AV-202 is the high-viscosity grout for large openings and high-volume water.
Can AV-202-LV permeate precast joints?
Yes. AV-202-LV is engineered to permeate tight cracks or joints in poured concrete, pipe penetrations, or precast structures. Typical viscosity is 500 to 800 cP at 72 F.
Does AV-202-LV work at pipe penetrations?
Yes. AV-202-LV is used successfully in manhole sealing and pipe penetrations. The lower viscosity is what lets it chase water in a tight annular space.
Can AV-202-LV be used underwater?
Yes. AV-202-LV can be used in underwater applications. Moisture activates the resin, so wet or submerged cracks are a listed use.
Can AV-202-LV stay in a moving joint?
Yes. AV-202-LV is an excellent choice for moving cracks and joints. It cures flexible with superb adhesive properties.
Does AV-202-LV take on water as it cures?
Yes. AV-202-LV can accept up to eight times its volume in water and free-rise expands 300 to 600 percent. That uptake is how it fills a wet, tight crack and still cures to a flexible foam.
