Avanti AV-202 Multigrout is a single component polyurethane injection resin designed for sealing active water leaks in large cracks or joints in concrete structures. It can absorb up to 10 times its weight in water, creating a tough and impermeable seal.
Avanti AV-202 Multigrout is a single-component, moisture-activated hydrophilic polyurethane for active water in large cracks and joints in concrete and brick. High-viscosity chemistry is what holds it in high-volume flow on manholes, pipe penetrations, and moving joints. It can take up to ten times its volume in water and cures to a tough, flexible seal, including underwater work. WQA certifies it against NSF/ANSI/CAN 61.

Is AV-202 meant for high-volume water in large cracks or joints?
Yes. AV-202 is a high-viscosity hydrophilic polyurethane for large cracks or joints in concrete and brick when high-volume water is already moving, or is likely to. That viscosity is what the TDS calls for when a thin resin will not stay in the opening.
Can AV-202 seal a leaking manhole?
Yes. AV-202 is used successfully in manhole sealing. Moisture activates the resin so it can chase water in the structure and cure to a tough, flexible seal.
Does AV-202 work at pipe penetrations?
Yes. AV-202 is used at pipe penetrations in concrete and brick. The grout seeks moisture in the annular space and expands to form a compressive seal.
Can AV-202 stay in a moving crack or joint?
Yes. AV-202 is an excellent choice for moving cracks and joints. It cures flexible with adhesive properties so the seal can move with the structure.
Can AV-202 be used underwater?
Yes. AV-202 can be used in underwater applications. Moisture activates the resin, so standing water is a listed use, not a reason to skip the grout.
Does AV-202 take on water as it cures?
Yes. AV-202 can accept up to ten times its volume in water and free-rise expands 300 to 600 percent. That uptake is how it fills a wet opening and still cures to a tough, impermeable seal.
