Frequently Asked Questions

When should a crew pick Ultrabond HYB-2CC instead of Ultrabond HS-1CC?
Use Ultrabond HYB-2CC when the job needs a fast hybrid that can install down to 23 F. Use Ultrabond HS-1CC when the job needs the high-strength epoxy for cracked and uncracked concrete, including submerged holes.

How fast does Ultrabond HYB-2CC reach full cure at 70 F?
Ultrabond HYB-2CC reaches full cure in 30 minutes at 70 F on the current HYB sheet. That is the fast-cure reason crews pick it over a slower epoxy.

How cold can Ultrabond HYB-2CC be installed?
Ultrabond HYB-2CC can be installed down to 23 F. That cold window is why it is the hybrid pick versus Ultrabond EPX-3CC, which wants a warmer base.

Which ICC-ES report covers Ultrabond HYB-2CC?
ESR-4535 covers Ultrabond HYB-2CC. Run the design in ATC Pro Anchor Design against that report.

Can Ultrabond HYB-2CC be used in water-filled holes?
Yes. Ultrabond HYB-2CC is listed for water-filled holes on the current sheet. Confirm the hole condition against that TDS.

Is Ultrabond HYB-2CC a cracked-and-uncracked adhesive?
Yes. Ultrabond HYB-2CC is a cracked-and-uncracked adhesive on ESR-4535. That is the same cracked-concrete class as HS-1CC, with a colder install window.
