Ultrabond ACRYL-8CC is a two-component, 10:1 mix ratio by volume, high strength, styrene free, vinylester adhesive anchoring system tested for use with threaded rod and reinforcing bar for cracked and uncracked concrete conditions. Suitable for dry, water saturated and water-filled conditions using threaded rod or rebar. Use in vertical down, horizontal, upwardly inclined and overhead installations.
Ultrabond ACRYL-8CC from Adhesives Technology is a two-component, styrene-free vinylester for anchoring threaded rod and rebar in cracked or uncracked concrete. It installs from 14°F, reaches full cure in 45 minutes at 70°F, and holds through freeze-thaw and in-service temperatures to 248°F. Typical work includes dry, water-saturated, and water-filled holes, plus vertical-down, horizontal, upwardly inclined, and overhead placements. The same adhesive is available as the 28 oz cartridge.

Which ICC-ES report covers Ultrabond ACRYL-8CC in cracked concrete?
ESR-4249 covers Ultrabond ACRYL-8CC for cracked and uncracked concrete. Use that report when the design calls for a styrene-free vinylester in a cracked member.
Can Ultrabond ACRYL-8CC be used in USDA inspected plants?
Yes. Ultrabond ACRYL-8CC is listed for USDA inspected facilities. That is the occupied-plant use, not a different cartridge chemistry.
What in-service temperature range does Ultrabond ACRYL-8CC list after cure?
Ultrabond ACRYL-8CC lists elevated in-service use after cure, including a 161 F sustained-load figure on the sheet. Confirm the load case against the current ACRYL-8CC TDS.
Does Ultrabond ACRYL-8CC work with ATC Pro Anchor Design software?
Yes. ATC Pro Anchor Design covers Ultrabond ACRYL-8CC. Run the design in that software against ESR-4249 rather than guessing rod size from the cartridge.
Is Ultrabond ACRYL-8CC a styrene-free vinylester for occupied interiors?
Yes. Ultrabond ACRYL-8CC is a styrene-free vinylester written for occupied interiors where a styrene odor is a problem.
Can Ultrabond ACRYL-8CC be installed at 14 F?
Yes. The ACRYL-8CC sheet allows install down to 14 F. That cold window is why crews pick this vinylester when the base is too cold for a standard epoxy.
