Adhesives Technology Crackbond CSR Polyurethane Crack Repair, 9oz Cartridge

Crackbond CSR from Adhesives Technology is a two-component polyurethane hybrid for rapid repair of hairline cracks and spalls in concrete. Ultra-low viscosity lets the mix wet the crack face and aggregate, then the repair can take traffic in under 60 minutes at 77°F. Typical work includes industrial floors, parking structures, and bridge decks when downtime is short. Other packs of the same material are the 22oz cartridge (A22-CSRN) and the 2 gallon kit (B2G-CSR).

Frequently Asked Questions

How soon can traffic return on a Crackbond CSR repair at 77F?
Crackbond CSR repairs can be opened to traffic in less than 60 minutes at 77F. The hybrid reaches more than 4,500 psi compressive strength in one hour on the current CSR v101 sheet. That is a same-shift return-to-service number, not a next-day epoxy.

Can Crackbond CSR be used on cracks that are still moving?
No. Crackbond CSR is not intended for cracks subject to movement. Fix the cause of cracking before the repair. For a control joint that must keep 10 to 15 percent of joint-width movement, use Crackbond JF-82 FAST instead of Crackbond CSR.

Does a Crackbond CSR repair stay color-stable outdoors?
Crackbond CSR is not sold as an aesthetic finish. The current sheet warns it may pick up a greenish tint from UV or cure with swirls and marbling. Coat or paint the repair after cure if appearance matters.

What temperature window does current Crackbond CSR allow?
Current Crackbond CSR (v101) places from 0F to 110F. That is not the CSR-LPL 40F floor. Extra care is called out for cracks below grade and for placements below 32F.

Does Crackbond CSR need a dry slab?
Yes. Crackbond CSR is highly moisture-sensitive. The cementitious substrate must be completely dry before placement. Standing moisture will react with the polyurethane hybrid and can ruin the repair.

Can Crackbond CSR take pigment for a color match?
Yes. Crackbond CSR accepts powder pigments for color matching on hairline cracks and spalls. Pigment does not turn it into a moving-joint filler. Keep JF-82 FAST on tooled control joints that must move.
