WR Meadows DETAIL FABRIC is a needle-punched, nonwoven polypropylene geotextile, supplied in a 12 Inch x 120 ft roll. It is intended for end laps and terminations of PRECON and PRECON LOW TEMP membranes.
WR Meadows DETAIL FABRIC is a polypropylene, staple fiber, needle-punched, nonwoven geotextile. The needled fibers form a stable network that holds its dimensions, and the fabric resists ultraviolet degradation and the biological and chemical conditions normally found in soils. It is intended for end laps of PRECON and PRECON LOW TEMP from WR Meadows, where it is embedded into a liquid membrane to form a waterproof and vaporproof shield that helps resist moisture through the end laps. The 12 Inch width centers over a termination with 6 Inch on each side of the lap edge.

What is WR Meadows DETAIL FABRIC used for?
It is intended for end laps of PRECON and PRECON LOW TEMP. Embedded in a liquid membrane, it forms a waterproof and vaporproof shield that helps resist moisture penetration through the end laps.
How is it installed at a PRECON end lap?
Overlap PRECON 6 Inch. Before lapping, put down BEM, HYDRALASTIC 836 or two-component MEL-ROL LIQUID MEMBRANE in the lap area and roll press the membrane into it. At terminations, put down the liquid membrane 12 Inch wide centered over the termination, embed the DETAIL FABRIC while it is still wet so 6 Inch sits on each side of the lap edge, and roll press it into place.
Does it need a top coat?
Yes. The data sheet calls for additional HYDRALASTIC 836 on all terminations of the DETAIL FABRIC.
What are its strength values?
Minimum average roll values are 115 lb (512 N) grab tensile strength and 50% grab elongation (ASTM D-4632), and 65 lb (289 N) puncture strength (ASTM D-4833).
