Is the kit for live leaks?
The cast iron kit is intended for no-pressure applications. Once cured, the repair is pressure-resistant, but isolate flow during installation whenever possible.
How do I choose between putty and CrackSeal?
Use Superfast Epoxy Putty to plug small holes or short defects. Use CrackSeal for long, narrow cracks—gun directly into the crack until filled, then overwrap.
Why is the bandage needed?
SylWrap HD consolidates and protects the seal, forming a tough, impact-resistant composite shell in about five minutes.
Can I use it on fittings and tight spaces?
Yes. The kit is effective around elbows, tees, and other difficult-to-access sections.
Are the materials drinking-water safe?
Superfast Epoxy Putty and SylWrap HD carry WRAS approval for potable water systems.
Any storage tips?
Keep the bandage in its sealed foil pouch until use to prevent premature cure; store all items cool and dry.
