This 150 mm Cast Iron Pipe Repair Kit seals cracks and splits in cast iron drain, waste, soil, and supply pipes without hot work. The system combines Superfast Epoxy Putty for small holes, CrackSeal cartridge sealant for longer cracks, and a SylWrap HD composite bandage to overwrap and reinforce the repair. Repairs are typically completed in under 30 minutes and cure to a permanent, impact-resistant finish; components noted carry WRAS approval for use on potable water systems.

Is the kit suitable for live leaks?
The cast iron kit is intended for no-pressure applications during installation. Once cured, the repair is pressure resistant; isolate or suppress flow whenever possible during application.
When should I use putty vs. CrackSeal?
Use Superfast Epoxy Putty for small holes or short defects. Use CrackSeal to fill long, narrow cracks by gunning directly into the crack until fully filled, then overwrap with the bandage.
Why is the bandage necessary?
SylWrap HD consolidates and protects the seal, forming a tough, impact-resistant composite shell in about five minutes.
Can I use it on awkward fittings?
Yes. The system is effective on elbows, tees, saddles, and other complex geometries and confined spaces.
Are the materials drinking-water safe?
Superfast Epoxy Putty and SylWrap HD carry WRAS approval for potable water systems.
Any storage tips?
Keep the bandage in its sealed foil pouch until use to prevent premature cure; store all items cool and dry.
