Moisture-curing pipe sealant which seals cracks and splits in cast iron waste, drain and soil pipes where water is not leaking through. Can also be used to fill longitudinal splits in other materials prone to cracking, including steel, concrete and anodized aluminum.
CrackSeal is a moisture-curing pipe sealant formulated to seal cracks and longitudinal splits in cast iron waste, drain, and soil pipes. It extrudes directly into the damaged area, skins in about 10 minutes, and hardens rapidly to stop leaks—even on damp substrates. The black color blends with cast iron, and the non-isocyanate, low-odor formula is paintable after cure. Supplied in a standard cartridge for use with a common sealant gun.

How do I apply CrackSeal?
Clean the pipe to remove debris, oil, and grease. Pierce the cartridge seal, fit the nozzle, cut at 45°, and gun CrackSeal directly into the crack until fully filled. Tool with a spatula dampened with water and a small amount of detergent.
Will it work on damp pipe surfaces?
Yes. CrackSeal adheres to wet surfaces, but the substrate should be as dry as possible for best results.
Is it suitable for pressurized lines?
Use on drains, waste, soil, and other services where pressure is off. It is not intended for pressurized piping.
Can I paint over the repair?
Yes—CrackSeal is paintable after cure.
How much will one cartridge cover?
Approximately 1 meter of a 10 mm-wide crack per 310 ml cartridge.
How do I clean up?
Remove excess immediately with white spirit. Cured material must be removed mechanically or with a specialist remover.
What are the storage recommendations?
Store cartridges between 5–25°C in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area. Shelf life is 12 months unopened.
