Designed to protect plastic pipes penetrating fire-rated walls and floors by utilizing a heavy gauge galvanized metal collar to house a molded intumescent insert.
The LCC300 is a factory-made firestop collar for 3 in plastic pipe penetrations in rated walls and floors. A heavy-gauge galvanized steel shell houses a molded intumescent insert that rapidly expands under fire exposure to help close off burning or softening plastic pipes. The compact collar installs in tight spaces, is water resistant when dry, and is listed for systems with ratings up to two hours when installed per tested designs.
