The LCC400 is a factory-made firestop collar for 4 in plastic pipe penetrations in rated walls and floors. A heavy-gauge galvanized steel shell houses a molded intumescent insert that rapidly expands under fire exposure to help close off burning or softening plastic pipes. The small-profile collar installs in tight spaces, is water resistant when dry, and is listed for systems with ratings up to two hours when installed per tested designs.
