Five Star High Strength 130 Grout

High Strength 130 is a cement-based, non-metallic, non-shrink precision grout for machinery support, structural steel, and high-performance construction work. The highly flowable mix pumps long distances, delivers 95% Effective Bearing Area, and develops high early and ultimate strengths. Formulated with Air Release technology, it meets ASTM C1107 Grades A, B, and C and exhibits positive expansion when tested to ASTM C827.

Key Features

  • Non-shrink precision grout with positive expansion (ASTM C827).
  • High early and ultimate strengths for rapid return to service.
  • 95% Effective Bearing Area for reliable load transfer.
  • Highly flowable and easily pumpable over long distances.
  • Poured, pumped, wet set, or dry packed placement options.
  • Meets ASTM C1107 A, B, C and CRD-C 621 requirements.
  • Available in 50 lb bags and 3000 lb bulk bags.

Applications

  • Precision grouting of machinery and equipment under high loads.
  • Structural steel and precast concrete bearing plates.
  • Support of tanks, vessels, wind turbines, and infrastructure bases.
  • Anchors and dowels where a non-shrink grout is required.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a bag yield?
Each 50 lb bag yields about 0.43 cubic feet at the maximum water content.

What is the recommended water per bag?
Start with 3.25–4.5 quarts of potable water per 50 lb bag. Mix 2–3 minutes to uniform consistency. Do not exceed the maximum water.

Can it be pumped?
Yes. The highly flowable mix is designed for easy pumping over long distances as well as poured, wet set, or dry pack placements.

Any temperature or curing guidance?
Place between 40–95°F. Maintain grout and substrate above 40°F until 1,000 psi is reached. Wet cure a minimum of 24 hours, then apply a curing compound or continue wet cure to a total of 3 days.

What clearances and depths are recommended?
Minimum plate clearance is 1 inch. Typical placement depth is 1–6 inches; consult aggregate extension guidance for deeper pours.

How long is the working time?
About 60 minutes at 70°F. Initial set 6–9 hours and final set 7–11 hours at 70°F.
