What is Euclid Euco-Speed used for?
It is used for rapid horizontal concrete repairs such as bridge decks, ramps, parking garages, pavements, marine structures, and formed vertical or horizontal patching.
How quickly does Euco-Speed set?
It has a final set time of about 30 minutes and can typically be opened to wheeled traffic in about 6 to 8 hours.
Can Euco-Speed be extended for deeper repairs?
Yes. For repairs from 1 inch to 6 inches deep, it may be extended with 25 lb of clean, saturated surface dry 3/8 inch rounded pea gravel per bag.
What finish is recommended for Euco-Speed?
It is designed to be finished with a float or broom appearance. A steel trowel finish may be possible, but timing is critical and achieving a smooth finish over large areas can be difficult.
How should Euco-Speed be cured?
Cure it with a high-solids curing compound such as SUPER AQUA-CURE VOX or SUPER DIAMOND CLEAR VOX, or wet cure it for a minimum of 3 days if a curing compound is not desired.
What should be avoided during installation?
Do not apply over frozen concrete, do not place below 40°F, and do not expose the repair to heavy traffic until it reaches at least 2,000 psi compressive strength.
