Adhesives Technology Accugrout HD 0.5 CF

Accugrout HD is a high-strength three-component epoxy grout for heavy dynamic loads on equipment bases.

  • Wind-farm and heavy industrial base-plate grouting
  • Handles vibration, impact, and thermal cycling
  • 6 in. maximum pour depth in a single lift

Adhesives Technology Accugrout HD 0.5 CF High-Strength Epoxy Grout

Accugrout HD from Adhesives Technology is a high-strength three-component epoxy grout for heavy dynamic loads on equipment bases. It is intended for onshore and offshore wind-farm pads and other industrial bases that see vibration, impact, thermal cycling, and chemical exposure. Mix and place between 60°F and 95°F, with a 6 in. maximum pour depth. The larger kit of the same grout is the Accugrout HD 2 CF.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should a crew pick Accugrout HD instead of standard Accugrout?
Pick Accugrout HD when the pad sees heavy dynamic load, wind-turbine equipment, or thermal cycling. HD is the high-strength grade with a 6 in. maximum lift. Standard Accugrout is the general-construction grade with an 8 in. lift.

Is Accugrout HD used on offshore as well as onshore wind work?
Yes. Accugrout HD is designed as a high-strength grout for onshore and offshore wind-farm equipment bases. Dynamic load and thermal cycling are the reasons HD sits on those foundations instead of the standard grade.

Does Accugrout HD handle thermal cycling on a equipment base?
Yes. Accugrout HD is called out for vibration, impact, and thermal cycling. That cycling is typical of wind-turbine and heavy rotating-equipment pads, which is why HD is the high-strength grade on the combined sheet.

How does Accugrout HD pour depth compare with Accugrout LE?
Accugrout HD maxes at 6 in. in a single lift. Accugrout LE is the pumpable low-exotherm grade with a 22 in. lift. Stay on HD for high-dynamic 6 in. work. Move to LE when the void is deep or heat of reaction is the problem.

Is Accugrout HD meant for compressors and heavy rotating equipment?
Yes. Accugrout HD is used on heavy rotating equipment, compressors, and machinery base plates that see high dynamic or impact loading. High early strength and a high bearing area are the jobsite reasons to keep HD on those pads.

What placement temperature band does Accugrout HD share with the Accugrout family?
Accugrout HD is placed in the same 60F to 95F family window. Keep resin and aggregate in that band so HD still flows to a high bearing area under a wind-farm or compressor base.
