WR Meadows CS-309-25 is a clear, non-yellowing, solvent-based acrylic curing and sealing compound in a 55 gallon drum. It cures and seals exterior concrete in a single application and dries to a low sheen.
WR Meadows CS-309-25 (CS 309 25) is a clear, ready-to-apply acrylic compound formulated with quick-evaporating solvents that cures and seals freshly placed concrete in one application. The film holds mix water for a hard, dense slab, helps limit hair-checking, dusting, and spalling, and resists mortar droppings during construction. It is intended for exterior concrete and leaves a low sheen. This 55 gallon drum covers roughly 16,500 to 33,000 sq ft.

Where is WR Meadows CS-309-25 used?
On exterior concrete such as commercial and industrial surfaces, sidewalks, patios, multi-level parking decks, driveways, and parking areas, wherever the slab should be cured and sealed in one application. It is for exterior application only.
What coverage does the CS-309-25 55 Gallon Drum give?
300 to 600 sq ft per gallon, or roughly 16,500 to 33,000 sq ft for this 55 gallon drum. For a two-coat job, apply each coat at 600 sq ft per gallon, with the second coat at a right angle after the first has dried.
How is CS-309-25 applied?
On fresh concrete, apply once surface water has completely disappeared and workers will not mar the surface. Use a sprayer or short-nap roller for a uniform film and brush or roll out any puddles. A Chapin 19069 sprayer with Viton fittings and a 0.5 GPM nozzle at 40 psi is recommended.
What weather conditions should be avoided with CS-309-25?
Do not apply in high heat and direct sun, which causes rapid evaporation and can make the film peel, bubble, or turn white. Avoid concrete exposed to excessive moisture, and do not apply when the concrete is below 40 F.
Can flooring go over concrete cured with CS-309-25?
Concrete floors properly cured with CS-309-25 meet ASTM C1315 Section 8.9 for adhesion of tile cements. For other specifications, get approval from the paint or resilient flooring manufacturer first.
What safety precautions apply to CS-309-25?
It is combustible, so remove ignition sources before use and handle empty containers as combustible. Do not dilute it. Treated surfaces may become slippery under certain conditions. Clean equipment with xylene or toluene.
