WR Meadows CS-309-30 is a high-solids, clear, non-yellowing acrylic curing and sealing compound in a 55 gallon drum. It cures and seals exterior concrete in a single application and dries to a high-gloss finish.
WR Meadows CS-309-30 (CS 309 30) is a high-solids, clear, ready-to-apply acrylic membrane formulated with quick-evaporating solvents that cures and seals freshly placed concrete in one application. It holds moisture for proper hydration to help the slab reach its designed strength, and it limits excessive shrinkage. The finish is high gloss, with raised resistance to chemicals, oil, grease, de-icing salts, and abrasion. This 55 gallon drum covers roughly 16,500 to 33,000 sq ft.

Where is WR Meadows CS-309-30 used?
On exterior concrete such as sidewalks, patios, multi-level parking decks, driveways, and parking areas, wherever the slab should be cured and sealed in one application. It is for exterior application only.
What coverage does the CS-309-30 55 Gallon Drum give?
300 to 600 sq ft per gallon, or roughly 16,500 to 33,000 sq ft for this 55 gallon drum. Test a small area first, since finish, texture, and conditions change the rate.
Can CS-309-30 go on existing concrete?
Yes. Existing concrete must be clean and dry, with stains, oil, grease, dust, dirt, and old curing compounds removed first. On fresh concrete, apply once surface water is gone and workers will not mar the surface.
How is CS-309-30 applied?
Mix gently, then use a sprayer or short-nap roller for a uniform film over the entire surface without puddles. A Chapin 19069 sprayer with Viton fittings, a 0.5 GPM nozzle, and a fan spray pattern is recommended. Apply it without dilution or thinning, between 40 and 90 F.
Can flooring or coatings go over CS-309-30?
For adhesion requirements beyond ASTM C1315 Section 9.8, get approval from the manufacturer of the paint, coating, adhesive, flooring, or topping before applying it over CS-309-30.
What precautions apply to CS-309-30?
It is combustible; keep it from open flame, ventilate well, and block HVAC ducts. Avoid high heat with direct sun and excessive moisture. Treated surfaces may become slippery, and SURE-STEP additive can raise slip resistance. If odor is a concern, WR Meadows suggests the VOCOMP series.
