What is the working time and shave window?
Gel time is about 35 seconds at 70°F. Shave the crown flush from about 15 minutes after placement up to 24 hours. Traffic ready is about 1 hour at 70°F.
How deep should joints be filled?
Install full joint depth in saw-cut control joints, or 2 inches minimum in saw-cut joints deeper than 2 inches. Do not use compressible backer rod in standard saw-cut joints less than 2 inches deep.
Can Edge-Pro 80 go into polished or damp slabs?
Yes. It is moisture tolerant on damp interior joints and can be ground or polished: wet as early as 30 minutes, dry after 3 to 4 hours at 70°F.
When should it be installed?
Defer filling as long as the schedule allows. Do not install before 28 days. ACI often points to 60 to 90 days so the slab can shrink and open the joints.
