Adhesives Technology ULTRABOND HS-1CC High-Strength Anchoring Epoxy, 9 oz Cartridge

ULTRABOND HS-1CC is a two-component, 1:1 epoxy anchoring adhesive for threaded rod and reinforcing bar in cracked or uncracked concrete, and for internally threaded inserts in uncracked concrete. It is approved for dry, water-saturated, water-filled, and submerged holes, including vertical, horizontal, and overhead placements. Working time is about 16 minutes at 75°F, with a 7-hour full cure. Also available as the ULTRABOND HS-1CC 22 oz and the ULTRABOND HS-1CC 53 oz.

At 75°F, working time is about 16 minutes and full cure is about 7 hours. At 43°F, working time is about 45 minutes and full cure is about 144 hours. Do not disturb, torque, or load the anchor until full cure.

Can HS-1CC be used overhead?
Yes. Vertical down, horizontal, upwardly inclined, and overhead placements are listed uses. Install per the datasheet and IAPMO ER-591.

How old must the concrete be before anchoring?
For anchoring applications, concrete should be a minimum of 21 days old prior to anchor installation per ACI 355.4.

Does HS-1CC meet ASTM C881?
Yes. The current TDS meets ASTM C881-15 and AASHTO M235 Type I, II, IV and V, Grade 3, Class A, B and C. It is evaluated to IAPMO ER-591 for cracked and uncracked concrete.
