Nano-Lithium hardener, densifier and hydrophobic sealer ideal for protecting concrete and masonry surfaces against damage from freeze-thaw cycles, moisture, and chloride ion intrusion.
Pentra-Sil 244+ is a premium Nano-Lithium hardener, densifier, and hydrophobic sealer for concrete and masonry. It combines lithium densification with reactive silicone chemistry to meet NCHRP 244 chloride protection in a single application. The treatment penetrates to reduce permeability, harden and dust-proof the surface, and help prevent efflorescence and spalling while remaining breathable and UV stable. Do not use as a time-of-placement densifier; wait at least seven days after placement before application.

How soon after placing concrete can I apply 244+?
Wait at least seven days after placement. Early application can cause white staining on new concrete.
Do I need to rinse after application?
No rinse is needed on most surfaces. On machine-troweled, dyed, acid-stained, or integrally colored concrete, scrub with water after 20–30 minutes and pick up excess material.
What surface prep is required?
Remove dirt, laitance, curing compounds, or coatings that block penetration. Avoid acidic or citrus cleaners; neutralize any residues with an alkaline cleaner.
Is it breathable and UV stable?
Yes. The treatment is breathable and not susceptible to UV damage.
How do I estimate coverage?
Plan for 600–800 ft²/gal on machine-troweled concrete and 250–350 ft²/gal on broom-finished surfaces; porosity and conditions affect actual rate.
