WR Meadows LIN-SEAL WHITE is a water-based, white-pigmented emulsion of boiled linseed oil in a 5 gallon pail. It cures fresh concrete and helps prevent spalling and scaling on bridge decks, ramps, and DOT surfaces in one application.
WR Meadows LIN-SEAL WHITE is a ready-to-use, true water-based, high-solids emulsion of boiled linseed oil with white pigment. Applied to fresh concrete, it forms a protective coat that limits moisture loss while the white pigment reflects the sun so the surface stays cooler. It also protects against spalling and scaling on concrete exposed to water and de-icing salts. This 5 gallon pail covers roughly 1,000 sq ft at the published rate.

Where is WR Meadows LIN-SEAL WHITE used?
On bridge decks, ramps, and other DOT concrete exposed to water, de-icing salts, or other damaging materials. It is for exterior use only and is not recommended for patios, sidewalks, residential driveways, or other areas with no wheel traffic to wear the white film.
What coverage does the LIN-SEAL WHITE 5 Gallon Pail give?
About 200 sq ft per gallon, or roughly 1,000 sq ft per pail. Coverage varies with the porosity and condition of the concrete.
When is LIN-SEAL WHITE applied?
On fresh concrete, as soon as all surface water has disappeared and workers will not mar the surface. On vertical surfaces, spray it promptly after the forms are removed.
How is LIN-SEAL WHITE applied?
Re-disperse any settling with gentle agitation, then spray one even coat with hand or power equipment. A Chapin 1949 sprayer with a 0.5 GPM nozzle is recommended, and the equipment must be clean of previous products.
How should rags used with LIN-SEAL WHITE be handled?
Materials soaked with linseed oil can catch fire on their own if discarded improperly. Right after use, place rags and absorbents in a water-filled container, then cover and seal it.
Can LIN-SEAL WHITE go on concrete that will be painted or sealed?
No. Do not use it on surfaces that will later be painted, tiled, hardened, sealed, or treated. Keep it from freezing, and do not apply it when the concrete is below 40 F.
