Water-based concrete curing compound is formulated from hydrocarbon resins and may be used on interior, exterior, vertical, and horizontal concrete surfaces. For sale and use in Southeast only.
W.R. Meadows 1100 Clear is a resin-based, water emulsion concrete curing compound designed to retain moisture in freshly placed concrete for proper cement hydration. It can be used on interior and exterior, vertical and horizontal concrete surfaces, and is a strong fit for projects where paint, resilient tile, or resilient flooring may be applied later. Once applied, it forms a liquid membrane that helps produce hard, dense concrete and then gradually breaks down and wears off over time under normal traffic and weathering conditions.

What is W.R. Meadows 1100 Clear used for?
It is used to cure freshly placed concrete on interior or exterior, vertical or horizontal surfaces while helping retain moisture for proper hydration.
Can this product be used where flooring or paint may be applied later?
Yes. It may be used on applications where paint, resilient tile, or resilient flooring will be applied later, but the manufacturer recommends checking with the flooring or paint manufacturer first and testing the surface.
Does 1100 Clear stay on the surface permanently?
No. The membrane begins to chemically break down after about four weeks, then typically wears off over another three to five weeks under normal traffic and weathering conditions.
What color does it dry to?
In the container it appears ivory, but it dries to a clear, transparent coating with a very slight amber tint.
How soon does it dry?
It typically dries in 1 to 2 hours depending on jobsite conditions. Foot traffic should be restricted for at least 4 hours, and 12 hours is preferred.
What should be avoided during application?
Keep the product from freezing, do not apply below 40°F concrete temperature, and do not mix with solvent-containing compounds or dilute with other materials.
