What is ChemLink NovaLink 35 Tan?
NovaLink 35 is a moisture-curing polyether elastomeric joint sealant. This page is the tan cartridge, gun grade and non-sag. It is solvent-free and will not outgas on damp surfaces.
Is Tan a different formula than the other NovaLink 35 colors?
No. The 10.1 oz colors are the same chemistry. This cartridge is tan. Other colors: Black, Gray, Limestone, and White. NovaLink SL and NovaLink FP are different ChemLink products, not another color of this sealant.
Can NovaLink 35 be applied in wet or cold weather?
Yes. It cures in wet or dry conditions and at temperatures as low as 32°F. Substrates must still be clean and free of frost, oils, and standing water. Keep cartridges at room temperature before gunning.
Does NovaLink 35 need a primer?
Most applications do not. Use a substrate primer on high-movement joints or dissimilar materials that need more adhesion. Do not use NovaLink 35 in continuous immersion.
What is the tack-free time?
Tack-free time is 40 minutes at 45 ± 5% relative humidity. Tool within 15 minutes. Horizontal applications require tooling.
