Ceilcote Ceilline is a two-component elastomeric epoxy for flexible, crack-bridging protection on concrete. It is used as a flexible coat under fiberglass reinforcement, or with Ceilcote, Interline, and Enviroline systems where extra movement capacity is required.
Ceilcote Ceilline is a two-component elastomeric epoxy lining from International Protective Coatings. Ceilcote Ceilline Horizontal and Ceilcote Ceilline Vertical are published for concrete that needs a flexible coat under fiberglass reinforcement, or additional crack bridging when used with Ceilcote, Interline, and Enviroline product specifications. The lining is grey, 90% volume solids, and is typically applied by trowel at 40-50 mils (1000-1250 microns) dry, equal to 44.4-55.6 mils wet. Theoretical coverage is 32 sq.ft per US gallon at 45 mils DFT. VOC is 1.10 lb/gal (132 g/L) by EPA Method 24, or 0.83 lb/gal (99 g/L) by SCAQMD Method 304-91. Hard dry is 10 hours at 50°F (10°C), 4 hours at 77°F (25°C), and 2 hours at 95°F (35°C). After correct installation, return to service is 48 hours at 50°F (10°C), 24 hours at 70°F (20°C), and 16 hours at 90°F (35°C). Surface, air, and material temperature should be 50°F to 110°F (10°C to 43°C). The current official datasheet (Issue Date 03/11/2021, Ref 4476) publishes a 20 litre unit; other pack sizes are available from AkzoNobel. Manufacturer part number 5606938. For expansion joints in Ceilcote floors, see Ceilcote EJ-10 trowel composite joint sealant. Related Ceilcote grouts include Ceilcote 748 epoxy grout and Ceilcote 749DP grout. Ceilcote EJ-3 elastomeric joint sealant (1 gal) is a polysulfide joint sealant, not a pack of Ceilline.

Product documents: Ceilcote Ceilline Elastomeric Epoxy Technical Data Sheet (PDF)
What is Ceilcote Ceilline used for?
Ceilcote Ceilline Horizontal and Vertical are two-component elastomeric epoxy systems for concrete that needs a flexible coat under fiberglass reinforcement, or additional crack bridging with Ceilcote, Interline, and Enviroline specifications.
Does Ceilcote Ceilline need a primer?
Yes. The datasheet requires Ceilcote Ceilline to be applied over Ceilcote 680 or Ceilcote 680M primer on correctly prepared concrete. Concrete should pass the plastic sheet test (ASTM D4263) and have a prepared surface tensile strength of at least 300 psi (2 MPa) per ASTM 4541.
What thickness and coverage does the datasheet publish?
Typical dry film thickness is 40-50 mils (1000-1250 microns), equal to 44.4-55.6 mils wet. Theoretical coverage is 32 sq.ft per US gallon at 45 mils DFT and 90% volume solids. Consult the application guidelines for the specified system before estimating practical coverage.
How soon can Ceilcote Ceilline return to service?
After correct installation, the datasheet lists 48 hours at 50 °F (10 °C), 24 hours at 70 °F (20 °C), and 16 hours at 90 °F (35 °C). Hard dry is 10 hours at 50 °F, 4 hours at 77 °F, and 2 hours at 95 °F. Mat reinforcement and saturant should be applied within 7 days.
How does Ceilcote Ceilline differ from Ceilcote EJ-10?
Ceilcote Ceilline is an elastomeric epoxy lining for crack-bridging on concrete under fiberglass reinforcement. Ceilcote EJ-10 is a two-part rubberized asphalt joint sealant for joints, cracks, and expansion joints in Ceilcote floors. See Ceilcote EJ-10 trowel composite joint sealant. A 1 gallon sibling listing is not currently available.
