Albion B26 1/10 Gallon Cartridge Applicator

The Albion B26 is the highest-thrust B-Line manual gun for 1/10 gallon (10 oz / 300 ml) cartridges. The 26:1 smooth-rod drive is published at 900 lbf of thrust and 300 PSI, which is the step up from the 12:1 B12 when the cartridge is cold, high-viscosity, or a 2-part Universal or peeler pack with a static mixer. The half-cradle carriage, full-size handle, puncture wire, and ladder hook stay in the B-Line layout, at 2.1 lb and 14 × 9 × 2 in. This remains a single-cartridge 10 oz tool, not a twin 600 ml 2K gun. For standard-viscosity 10 oz silicones and acrylics, the Albion B12 1/10 gallon cartridge applicator is the 12:1 option. Twin 300 ml x 300 ml 1:1 cartridges use the Albion B26T600 multi-component cartridge applicator (600 ml). Quart 12:1 work uses the Albion B12Q 1 quart cartridge applicator.

Frequently Asked Questions

What cartridges does the B26 take?
1/10 gallon (10 oz / 300 ml) cartridges. Albion also lists Universal or peeler-style 2-part cartridges with static mixers. It is not a quart gun and not a 600 ml twin-cartridge tool.

When should I choose the B26 instead of the B12?
Use the B26 when the 10 oz material is thick, cold, or a 2-part peeler/Universal cartridge that needs the 26:1 drive (900 lbf). The Albion B12 1/10 gallon cartridge applicator is the 12:1, 375 lbf gun for standard-viscosity 10 oz silicones, acrylics, and polyurethanes.

How does the B26 differ from the B26T600?
The B26 is a single 10 oz (300 ml) cartridge gun. The Albion B26T600 multi-component cartridge applicator (600 ml) is a twin-cartridge 2K tool for 300 ml x 300 ml 1:1 packs (convertible to 300 ml x 150 ml 2:1). Both use a 26:1 B-Line drive.

What thrust and pressure does the B26 publish?
The official product specifications list 900 lbf of thrust and 300 PSI, with a 26:1 mechanical advantage drive.

Is the official model B26 or B26-1?
Albion publishes this 10 oz highest-thrust B-Line gun as model B26 (SKU B26). B26-1 is not the model name on the current Albion product page or Bulletin 412.
