Adeka Ultraseal MC-2010MN is a waterstop designed for use in below grade cast-in-place concrete joints where water intrusion must be prevented. MC- 2010MN is designed to replace conventional waterstop in non-moving joints. It is also used for cast-in-place or block out piping penetrations where pipe diameter exceeds 24".
Adeka Ultraseal MC-2010MN is a non-vulcanized hydrophilic rubber strip with stainless mesh for below-grade CIP non-moving joints and CIP or block-out piping larger than 24 in. Mesh-directed swell is about 2 times by volume, with about 4 to 5 in of cover, on tanks, vaults, WWTP, and dams. A thinner adhesive-backed profile is available as the Adeka MC-2005T.

Use MC-2010MN on a formed non-moving CIP joint or on piping larger than 24 in. Adeka Ultraseal MC-2005T is the adhesive 20 x 5 mm strip, typically for pipe 24 in or smaller. Pipe diameter and whether the joint is a formed CIP joint decide the profile.
