W.R. Meadows PERMINATOR 15 Mil is a polyolefin-based underslab vapor barrier designed to reduce moisture and water vapor transmission through concrete slabs into the structure. It also helps reduce fungus, mildew, mold growth, and radon gas intrusion while offering strong puncture resistance for normal jobsite traffic. This vapor barrier is used under concrete slabs, in crawlspaces, and as a protection course over waterproofing membranes where a low perm rating and durable sheet performance are required.

Can penetrations and damaged areas be repaired?
Yes. Pipe and rebar penetrations can be sealed with collars and tape, and damaged areas can be patched with a larger piece of PERMINATOR overlapped at least 6 inches in all directions and taped at the edges.
Does PERMINATOR eliminate the need for drainage?
No. The manufacturer states that it does not negate the need for hydrostatic pressure relief, and a drain tile system may still be required.
