Tremco Spectrem 1 Charcoal 20oz Sausage
Tremco Spectrem 1 is a high-performance, single-component, moisture-cure, ultra-low modulus silicone sealant intended for sealing difficult-to-adhere-to substrates. It is used in demanding, dynamically moving joints, including materials with a high coefficient of linear expansion such as aluminum curtainwalls, precast concrete panels, metal panels and window perimeters. Joint movement capability is +100%/-50% (ASTM C719), and a slightly grainy texture lets the sealant zipper rather than fully tear if failure occurs. Tremco recommends Spectrem 1 when detailing over the ExoAir Air Barrier system and for use with its silicone rubber extrusions, Spectrem Simple Seal and Proglaze ETA, and it is compatible for use over Nudura insulated concrete forms. It goes on with conventional caulking equipment with no mixing and resists driving rain, ozone, ultra-violet light and temperature extremes. Do not apply it to damp or contaminated surfaces; it is not intended for continuous water immersion and should be used with adequate ventilation.
