Euclid Eucolastic 1SL is a self-leveling polyurethane sealant for horizontal joint sealing in concrete and masonry structures. Extremely durable in dynamic joints. It provides superior wear resistance to rubber tires and pedestrians in high traffic areas.
Euclid Eucolastic 1SL is a single-component, self-leveling polyurethane hybrid joint sealant made for dynamic concrete joints in high-traffic areas. This low-modulus, moisture-cure formula delivers strong adhesion, excellent movement capability, and superior wear resistance to rubber tires and pedestrians. It is designed for interior and exterior use and offers easy application by allowing the material to self-level after placement.

What is Euclid Eucolastic 1SL used for?
It is used for concrete control and expansion joints, sidewalks, truck terminals, plazas, swimming pool decks, and traffic loop sealing in interior and exterior applications.
Is Eucolastic 1SL self-leveling?
Yes. It is a self-leveling sealant that can be dispensed into the joint and left to level on its own, including on slopes up to 6%.
Can Eucolastic 1SL be used on new concrete?
Yes. It can be installed in new concrete 24 hours after forms are stripped, provided the joints are properly prepared and there is no standing water.
Does Eucolastic 1SL require primer?
It typically bonds to common construction materials without primer, but field adhesion testing is recommended on some non-porous surfaces. Primer is required when the sealant will be in service under water after curing.
How quickly does Eucolastic 1SL cure?
A skin forms in about 1.5 to 2 hours, it becomes tack-free in under 5 hours under standard conditions, and it cures at about 1/16 inch per day.
What joint depth is recommended?
Joint width should be four times the expected movement, with equal width-to-depth ratios for joints 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch wide. For joints 1/2 inch to 1 inch wide, the sealant depth should be half the width, with 1/2 inch as the maximum allowable depth.
